DESCRIPTION:
The Art Appreciation Program relies on volunteer docents to present 2 artists or art styles to each class during the school year. Approximately 20 minutes is spent discussion the artist or art style and 20 minutes is spent recreating a masterpiece or style of art.

VOLUNTEERING:
Volunteers are needed to work with a partner to present 40 minute classroom programs.

Volunteers needed to Serve as Grade Level Coordinators:
One volunteer per grade to assist the program chair(s) with implementing the Art Appreciation Program. Each grade level coordinator will be responsible for:

• Acting as liaison for teachers, volunteer docents, and program chairs.
• Setting up dates for the 2 presentations.
• Ensuring docents have art prints, project supplies, and presentation materials.
• Alerting program chairs when new supplies are needed.
