It is the tradition at Coolidge to make our childrens 5th grade year special. Activities are planned throughout the year. With your help
and support, we hope to fundraise all costs associated with these activities. We will be sending out updates as the year progresses. Below are the activities and some of the fundraisers planned and
how you can get involved.
Activities
- NYC Trip - The tradition at Coolidge is to take our fifth graders
on a memorable trip to NYC in May which includes lunch and
a Broadway Show.
- Holiday Party - Students celebrate the holiday season and their friendships with a party in December.
- Memory Book - This yearbook highlights the students’ years at Coolidge and is presented to them at a catered breakfast in June. This project is started early in the year and we need your help! Please start collecting photos of your child with Coolidge classmates from Kindergarten through 4th grade. We will
also be requesting a baby photo of your child. All clearly
labeled photos will be returned. Digitals are happily
accepted on disc or via email.
- Spring Lake - Students join other fifth graders from town
for a day of swimming, eating and playing at Spring Lake
in Wyckoff in late June.
Fundraisers
WINE TASTING October 13
Save the date! Join us for an evening of tasting wines from the stellar selections recommended by the Wine Seller store of Ridgewood. Bring your friends and enjoy a night of socializing and discovering new wine choices. Orders can be placed that evening or in advance.
PIZZA LUNCH September - June
Proceeds from the pizza lunch program benefit the fifth grade class. Sign-up form due TBA. Please volunteer to serve pizza to the students of Coolidge on Wednesdays.
YANKEE CANDLE SALE Forms due by February 4th, 2008
Start the spring with some pretty new scents. Makes great gifts for Easter, Passover and Mother's Day, Pass it on to family and friends. Proceeds from the candle sale will directly benefit the NYC trip. Checks should be made out to Coolidge School PTO. Thanks again for supporting our 5th grade!
