Detective Kellogg Interview

Detective Kellogg appeared on ETV to discuss Internet safety. One of the issues he discussed was Internet bullying. How do you feel about Internet bullying? What can be done to make students aware of the best way to use the Internet? How do we help students learn how to "behave" on the Internet?

Internet safety is a very important topic that needs to be talked about in schools. Since we are not seeing the people we are communicating with we often forget that EVERYONE and ANYONE can read what we type. Also, some people think that being "anonymous" through the internet gives them the right to write things that they would never put out in public if they had to put their name with it. The internet is a wonderful tool, but it needs to go hand and hand with respect for others.
