Brushing Your Teeth (Class poem)

Turn on the faucet
Squeezing toothpaste on to brush
Put in your mouth
Brush and do swooshies
Scrub your teeth until they shine
Spit the water out

You won't trip

I come home, tired from school
My eyes slowly closing
I hurry upstairs to change my clothes
I find a comfortable spot
And get my pillow and blankets
And turn off the lights

As I lay down
