A Christmas Dream
By Francesca
Nose shining like a star
Way up in the sky
If you caught a glimpse of it
You'd simply pass it by
Santa's redder than a cherry
He's plumper than a peach
A bright red nose leading the way
Through the Christmas sleet
Cuddled in their beds
Children are asleep
Dreaming of what Santa Claus
Will give them once they peep
Creeping down the chimney
Cautiously and slow
Comes a happy, jolly man
Cold from traveling through the snow
Picking up a cookie
Sipping down some milk
He places down some presents
Wrapped with bows of silk
The kids run down the stairs
And surprised to find
They were very good this year
Very considerate and kind
A new doll for your sister
A truck for your brother, too
Then you smile as you look out
Into the sky, gray blue.
