My Class

My class is a good one,
it really is so!
but perhaps you'd like to know,
that we get in trouble
most of the time
but that's my class,
that good class of mine.

Algebra, too
science is nature
and how to sue
english is writing
and essays galore
social studies is ancient civilizations
and more
Clubs

Literary club is where you write
Stories that happen day and night
Re-act club is fun, too.
There are so many things that you can do!
School store is where you sell
Squishy bears and pens as well.
Battle of the books is where you read
And compete
Homework club is where you do
Homework that is hard for you.
Brainbusters is where you play
And play all day
There is the stock market club, where you learn about stocks
And you learn how to sell a rock.
The knitting club is fun, too.
You can knit in the color blue!
The games club has a lot of things to do.
You can play by yourself or with a friend or two.

King Tut

King Tut was a boy
who lived long ago
and had not a toy
not one single Lego.
Royal blood ran through his veins.
He was a good king
and had a good reign.
He died so suddenly
because of a bump.
Why he died so young
everyone was so stumped.
Years later now
in front of my TV,
we watch how King Tut was bumped.
