Bob Ivry, a reporter from the Bergen Record visited Eisenhower. Mr. Ivry wrote a piece on the life of a trout from the trout's point of view. The 6th grade language art teachers used the story in their classes. Mrs. Avia e-mailed Mr. Ivry and invited him to speak about the piece to some of the 6th graders. He spoke about his experiences as a reporter and about some of the stories he has written. The students also shared some of their writing.
