Students in Mr. De Mase’s 7th grade art class worked on Australian Aboriginal art. Aboriginal art is art produced by Indigenous Australians, covering works that predate European colonization as well as contemporary art by Aborigines based on traditional culture. Dotting or dot painting is a reference used to describe this particular style of aboriginal art shown in the student work presented in the gallery.
