| Hydrogen is used in rocket fuel. Robert Goddard was the first person to launch a rocket that used a liquid fuel (hydrogen and oxygen). Hydrogen is the lightest of all elements and highly flammable. A hydrogen explosion caused the Hindenberg disaster. |
