Power of the Wind

Power of the Wind is funded by a an Environmental Education Grant from Public Service Gas and Electric.  The content of the project is the sole responsibility of the grant recipient.

Find out what lessons have been learned since Altamont Pass by reading "Birds and Wind Power. " Use the right navigation bar to access additional information. - Go

Continue your information quest at NJ Audubon Society.  Use the left navigation bar to understand New Jersey's  importance to migratory birds and the science used to study migratory patterns.- Go

Compare the maps for migration with the wind maps.  What patterns do you observe?  What affect might your wind farm locations have on migratory birds?  How would you access the impact?
