New Student Gallery Debuts at Eisenhower School See the first show.
Senufo Cloth Drawings
See the new art display of Senufo Cloth Drawings located at the front entrance to our school. These works of art were created in the style of the African people who inhabit the region known as the Ivory Coast. Seventh grade students in Mr. De Mase’s art classes researched the design motifs to be used in their work. Each design was drawn on canvas fabric and painted with watercolors. The pieces represent imagery and colors authentic to the Senufo people.
This exhibit celebrates Black History Month, February 2005.
