Welcome to China and the Beautiful Three Gorges Areas located on the Yangtze River.  The Yangtze River is China's longest river and will soon be altered permanently due to the completion of the Three Gorges Dam project.  Here at Eisenhower Middle School,  Team Three's Sixth Grade World Cultures Class has investigated and drawn conclusions about the impact of the dam on China's geography and culture based on China's ancient history.  Our conclusions were shared with each other in a round-table symposium where each student presented their findings in a short speech.
