The World of Hurricanes
The Hurricane Eye Wall
The Hurricane Eye Wall surrounds the eye and it has the most intense rainfall and winds. The Eye Wall spins in a tight spiral around the Eye. On radar and infrared images, the eye wall is dense and there are dark rings of clouds next to the eye. The Eye Wall generally has the coldest weather of the hurricane.
