| The west coast of Africa is the start of most hurricanes. These areas of lower pressure create about 15 hurricanes a year that pass throughout the Atlantic. When hurricanes do develop, forecastors have a tough time predicting the path of the hurricane because it is very sporadic and can change at any time. This is mainly because of the difference of pressure in Earth's oceans. | ||||||
