EXPORATION OF THE SEVEN CONTINENTS

The Great Barrier Reef
The Great Barrier reef is located off the coast of northeastern Australia. It is not one giant coral reef, but it is actually more than 2,800 coral reefs. It is a site of remarkable beauty and variety. It has 400 different types of coral, 1,500 species of fish, and 4,000 types of mollusc. It is also home to the sea cow and the large green turtle, which are both threatened with extinction. It is a great place to experience the many different types of life in our ocean.
