Lasting Images
Student Digital Images Printed on Ceramic Tiles and Installed in School
Harold Olejarz - Eisenhower Middle School, Wyckoff, NJ

This project provides talented art students with an opportunity to have their talent acknowledged. At the same time this project enhances the school environment with an installation of student art that is far beyond typical temporary bulletin board decoration.

Student’s digital images are printed on ceramic tiles and displayed in Eisenhower Middle School. Displaying the images provides exemplars that will inspire other students and at the same time provides exceptional student art for the school.

Acknowledging outstanding achievement has a powerful impact on students. Middle school students may not realize that they have created something great and giving students more than a grade has a powerful impact. This project gives students the opportunity to make a permanent contribution to the aesthetics of their school and helps create a more student centered environment.

Special thanks to the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation for funding this project and to Diana Polack of artwarebyyou.com for helping to make it happen.
