Grade 6 - The Internet
Week of May 5th
Due to testing we will only meet twice this week. Continue working on Internet presenttions during class.

Grade 7 - Digital Imaging
Week of May 5th

Complete Ansel Adams project. By the end of the week we will start Straight Photography.

Grade 8 - ETV
Week of May 5th

Rehearse for the show and begin work on features.

 

Digital Video - Students learn to become more media literate. They learn to plan and produce video projects, decode images and messages within media and decide what makes a powerful and effective message. Students develop interview skills, public speaking skills and learn to interpret and dramatize poetry.

  

Digital Imaging - Students use digital cameras, scanners, imaging software, printers and computers to explore the artistic potential of new imaging technology and solve visual problems. Students will learn how to plan and produce digital images that demonstrate an understanding of composition, light, color, visual impact and art history. Hands-on projects include digital painting, digital photography, image capture, image manipulation and graphic design problems.

 

ETV Morning News - Eighth-grade students in this class produce the ETV Morning News show every school day. The show is broadcast to all Eisenhower classrooms and the general public on a local cable channel Each show includes morning announcements and feature stories of interest to Eisenhower students and the Wyckoff community.
