Sugar Gliders
by Julia
To the tune of "Twinkle,
Twinkle Little Star"
Sugar gliders, flying
mammals,
very smart little animals.
Up at night they go gliding.
They especially love climbing.
Sugar gliders, flying mammals,
very smart little animals.
Sugar gliders have
bushy tails,
and functional, long, sharp nails.
What they eat is mostly sweet,
they will never eat any meat.
Sugar gliders, flying mammals,
very smart little animals.
These Australian
marsupials are very clean,
but they sound like a pencil sharpening machine.
They also have a barking sound,
and a sneezing noise that can astound.
Sugar gliders, flying
mammals,
very smart little animals.
