Dr. Seuss
to the tune of "Row,
Row, Row Your Boat"
Eric
We all love Ted Geisel,
Known as Dr. Seuss,
He was born in 1904,
Springfield, Massachusetts.
When he grew, he advertised
A lot for companies.
He drew gasoline monsters,
They looked very mean.
Believe it or not, The Cat in the
Hat
was one of those monsters,
Seuss went on to illustrate,
No longer did he sponsor.
All of his books are really great,
Like Horton Hears a Who,
Oh the Places You Can Go
To name just a few.
Reading Seuss's work takes you
Very far away,
To lands of exotic fantasy
They have so much to say.
They teach us to appreciate
Being whom we are,
Seuss teaches and enchants,
He's our literary star.
