He joined the Red Cross that year
And was sent overseas.

He was a modern Aesop,

During his 43 year career
Making his movies.

Nine hundred fifty honors,
Honors, honors,
Married in 1925,
And later raised two girls.

Founder of our Disneyworld,
And Disneyland was Disney’s land,
We mourned when he died in ‘66,
His legacy’s worth more than pearls.
