@ - This symbol is used for e-mail addresses. It means "at" and seperates the user *ID from the domain.

Key pals. Friends who meet on-line and talk to each other using their computer keyboards.
Mouse. A mouse is a hand-held device used to move the cursor (the blinking line or arrow that tells your where you are) around the computer screen.
Multimedia. Multimedia refers to an integration of text, graphics, animation, voice, music, movies, or motion video into a computer program.
Network is a group of computers joined by data-carrying links.
Search service. A web site that helps you search for information in the World Wide Web.
URL. Uniform Resource Locator. The address for the Web page. Every Web page has a URL.
Web browser. A program that helps you navigate the World Wide Web. The two most used are Netscape and Internet Explorer.
Web Page. A single page on the World Wide Web. A web page can include words, pictures, sounds, video and links to other sites.
WWW is the abbreviation for the World Wide Web.
