Welcome to Second Grade
Reading, Writing, and Math are ongoing at the second grade level. Manuscript is perfected and cursive writing is being introduced. Social Studies encompasses geography and history, with an emphasis on map skills. Science entails many hands-on experiences including solids and liquids, air and weather, and raising live insects. In Health, as we learn about others, we learn about ourselves.
