Students in grades K-5 visit the media center each week for a story/lesson taught by media specialist, Beverly Ten Kate.  At that time there is an opportunity to check out books for independent reading and special projects.  Junior Great Books discussions for third, fourth, and fifth graders are led by trained parent volunteers.  The first and fifth grade Book Buddy program encourages reading and demonstrates the enjoyment of sharing literature with others.
