Chorus

Part 1

I give my permission for my son/daughter,_________________________________________________

Grade&Teacher_______________________________________________________, to join chorus.

I understand that my child should be ready to rehearse each Tuesday morning for 5th grade or Wednesday morning for 4th grade at 8:00 AM sharp.  I have discussed that chorus is a privilege and that proper school behavior is expected at all times. Children who arrive after 8:00 will enter the auditorium quietly and join in the activity immediately. 

I understand that there are no crossing guards or hall monitors at that time in the morning and have discussed important safety issues with my child.  My child should go directly to the auditorium and may not leave until 8:35 when the rest of the children will be lining up for school.

I also agree to have my child participate in the choral concert.  The performance date is posted in the school calendar and on the music web site.  I may check the web site for other pertinent information.

expectations with my parents.  I know that I am expected to arrive on time, enter politely and follow good rehearsal rules.  I also know that I may be asked to leave the auditorium and sit in the front lobby until dismissed if I am not behaving well.  Two reprimands will be followed by a call to my parents and three may be followed by being asked to no longer be a member of the chorus.
