Thanksgiving is a special time in Kindergarten.  The children reenact the first Thanksgiving.  They make their own Pilgrim and Native American garb.  As Pilgrims, the children pack a bag for the long journey, sail on the Mayflower, and share a typical Mayflower snack.  As Native Americans, they make pumpkin bread!  All the festivities end with a special Thanksgiving feast for the Native Americans and the Pilgrims.  Below are pictures of the children learning about Thanksgiving.
