Happy new year!  The children met many letter friends in January.  They met Ms. P, Mr.Z, Mr. B, and Mr. I.  The children had fun dressing in patterns, adding pennies, graphing pretzels, and making patterns with Ms. P.  Ms. P loves pigs and other farm animals as well as pets.  She taught the children about animals that live with people. The children built a zoo with Mr. Z, sorted buttons with Mr. B, and measured with Mr. I's impossible inches. It was fun learning about the different sizes of animals!  Mr. I also loves insects!  The children sorted insects and estimated the number of insects that different size jars can hold.  Below are pictures of the children enjoying these activities.
